Shrewsbury 50K 2026

Shrewsbury 50K is a new ultra running event that forms part of the Shropshire Series. The race follows the Church Stretton 50K route in reverse, running from Church Stretton to Shrewsbury. The start line is at Rectory Fields, Church Stretton SY6 6DQ and the finish is at The Quarry Park Shrewsbury, SY1 1JA.

The course begins with the Burway climb and then continues through Shropshire countryside toward Shrewsbury. The event includes professional chip timing, five nutrition stations along the route, officially measured courses, and free photo downloads. A special segment medal is available for linking with the Church Stretton 50K route; completing both the Church Stretton 50K and the Shrewsbury 50K awards a special combined medal. A technical running T shirt is offered at additional cost.
