General Information

The event is scheduled for August 15, 2026. It will take place at Crandall's Park Pavilion, located at 120 Cider Mill Rd in Tolland, CT. The event involves running and other activities.

Participants run loops of an approximately 5 km course marked on trails. The running portion lasts for an 8-hour period, during which individuals can run as many or as few loops as they wish.

The event includes a potluck, so attendees are encouraged to bring a dish, snacks, or drinks. Some grilled food, such as burgers and hot dogs, will also be provided. There will be raffles and games.

For each loop completed, a runner receives a raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes. Prizes include free race entries and club merchandise. Hidden items along the course can also be exchanged for additional tickets.

All runners who register and complete at least one loop will receive a 50th anniversary gift from the Shenipsit Striders club. The event is organized by this nonprofit trail running club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
