Sevenoaks 7

Sevenoaks 7 is an annual trail race held at Knole Park, Sevenoaks, Kent. The event for 2026 takes place on 12 July 2026 and is organised by Sevenoaks Athletics Club with permission from Knole Estate and The National Trust. The course features multi‑terrain trails with twists, turns and climbs across parkland and woodland.

Distances

  • 7 miles main race
  • 3.5 km chip timed Junior Run for ages 9 to 15

The Junior Run is chip timed, free to enter and mainly on tarmac paths with about 1 km on track through woodland. The Junior route follows a section of the main race.

Included for competitors are a bespoke medal, free photographs, trophies and prizes for leading finishers in the main race, and trophies for the leading boys and girls in the junior run. A cash prize of £50 is available for breaking the current course records (male 38:24 set 2023, female 44:52 set 2024). A further £50 is available for breaking the all time course records (male 35:52 set 2002, female 41:31 set 2011).

Race HQ is at Sevenoaks Rugby Club. The start and finish are at the south east corner of Knole House, about a one mile warm up jog from Race HQ. Parking is available at the rugby club for approximately 75 cars with overflow at Buckhurst Car Park; Sunday charges apply. Route maps and GPX files are provided for the course.
