The Sedbergh Fell Race is part of the BOFRA championship and takes place on 16 May 2026 at The Showfield, Back Lane, Sedbergh LA10 5AQ. The venue is on the A684, about 6 miles east of M6 junction 37. The course runs up Winder to the summit and returns by a descent to the showfield. A recent change of landowner means the route no longer passes through the start field; it now follows the track and then the beck.   • Senior: 2.20 miles / 3.50 km, 1100 ft / 340 m climb.
  • U9: 1.00 km.
  • U12: 2.00 km.
  • U14: 2.60 km.
  • U17: 3.10 km.

Junior races are held for U9, U12, U14 and U17 categories. Entry on the day is available; the on-the-day fee is £5.00 and there is no pre-entry. Junior entry is £2. Teams are not permitted.
