Sedbergh Fell Race

Sedbergh, United Kingdom • 16 May 2026

Event details

The Sedbergh Fell Race is scheduled for Saturday 16 May 2026 at The Showfield, Back Lane, Sedbergh, LA10 5AQ. The event uses the showfield as the finish area and is located on the A684, about 6 miles east of the M6 junction 37 (Grid Reference 658918, What3Words ///actor.racetrack.toward). Dogs are not allowed in the start field because it is a school playing field.

The race route climbs Winder to the summit and then returns to the showfield by a steep descent. Because of a landowner change, the course no longer runs through the field at the start; the route now continues up the track and follows the beck.
