The Secret Santa trail series takes place on 6 December 2025 at Cwmdu Village Hall, Nr Crickhowell, Black Mountains, Powys (NP8 1RW). Distances offered are:
- Half Marathon du Mulled Wine
- Turkey Ten Miles
- Figgy Pud 14km
Entries open 18 February 2025 and close 30 November 2025 at 18:00. Minimum age is 17 on the event date. Entry fees listed are £65 for the half marathon, £55 for the ten miles, and £45 for the 14 km. The event is organised by Limitless Trails. Registration is handled through SiEntries.
Course and logistics
All routes start from Cwmdu, head west towards Bwlch Mountain and follow the Beacons Way until they split on Mynydd Llangorse. The half marathon follows the trail on Cockit Hill and returns via Cefn Moel. The ten mile and 14 km use the same initial route with earlier turnarounds. Terrain is described as technical: rocky paths, boggy moorland, narrow single-track trails and some forest sections. Courses will be fully marked and have back-runner support.
An 8-hour cut-off applies. Facilities include refreshments, toilets, a full medical team, two refuel zones, online results and event photography. Prizes and bespoke medals are provided, with handcrafted slate trophies for the top three and veteran category awards. Mandatory kit is required, including waterproof jacket/trousers, race vest, 1 litre fluid capacity, map or GPX, phone, appropriate footwear and basic first-aid items.
