Route and logistics
The route blends parts of the Three Castles Walk and Offa's Dyke Path with surrounding countryside, and specifically links the three castles of Skenfrith, Grosmont, and White Castle. Terrain is reported as 90% trail and 10% road. There are three fully manned checkpoints along the route stocked with snacks, fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, seats, power banks and music; dietary requirements can be accommodated if declared in advance. Required kit and entry inclusions
Mandatory kit includes appropriate footwear, a 1 litre water carrier, a mobile phone, a head lamp or other light source for tunnels or night sections, a foil blanket, a waterproof jacket and a rucksack.
