There are three fully manned checkpoints along the route stocked with snacks, fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, seats, power banks and music; dietary requirements can be accommodated if declared in advance. Mandatory kit includes appropriate footwear, a 1 litre water carrier, a mobile phone, a head lamp or other light source for tunnels or night sections, a foil blanket, a waterproof jacket and a rucksack.
