Seaton Scramble Trail Race
The Seaton Scramble Trail Race takes place along the Seaton Trail in Pickering, Ontario. The course is designed as an out and back route, with participants in the longest distance completing the circuit twice. The terrain features a mix of single track and double track trails, including hills, stairs, and a creek crossing.
The event offers a variety of distance options for both runners and hikers:
- 1 km Kids Scramble (ages 12 and under)
- 7 km Trail Run or Hike
- 15 km Trail Run or Hike
- 25 km Trail Run
- 50 km Trail Run
The race starts at Pine Ridge High School on Liverpool Road, which is accessible via the 401. Indoor bathrooms are available at the high school, and portable toilets are located at the 15 km and 25 km turnaround points.
A strict 9-hour time limit applies to all distances. Walking poles are permitted only for the 50 km event. Dogs are not allowed on the race course.
