Sea2Sky : Donard Park, Newcastle

Sea2Sky is an annual running event held at Donard Park in Newcastle, Co. Down. The event offers road and off-road running with routes that move from the promenade into forest and foothill trails of the Mournes before returning to finish on Newcastle promenade. Distances are approximate and may vary slightly because sections are off-road.

Entry is by online registration only and race packs are posted to participants. A processing fee is added by the registration platform and registrants choose a postal option for Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland at entry. Early bird and junior rates apply until specified dates; entries are nonrefundable but may be transferred to another person following event procedures.

Race services include individual chip timing for the 5K and 10K races, a finisher medal, race number, a water station near the 5K point on the 10K route, and complimentary post race barbecue served near the finish. There is no on-site day registration; a registration desk at Newcastle Leisure Centre handles queries, entry changes, and merchandise collection. Free parking is available in nearby car parks. Meelmore is a Hill and Dale mountain race at Meelmore Lodge featuring a 7 km course with 700 m of climb. Open to runners aged 15 and over, the route is unmarked and specific kit and number rules apply.

Luke's is a 7 km mountain race with 500 m of climb near Meelmore Lodge on 21 May 2026, part of the Hills and Dales series. The route is unmarked and competitors must meet age and kit requirements.

A marked 21.5 km mountain loop in County Louth with 790 m of ascent, following forest tracks, the Poc Fada route and open mountain sections. Level B mandatory kit is required and GPS is not allowed.

NORN IRON 100 is a multi terrain ultra run in Northern Ireland on 30th May - 31st May 2026, listed as UTMB Index **100M / M** with an iTRA grade of 5 and organised by We Run Wild NI.
