Event Details

The Screamin' Hill Scramble is a 5K run/walk on April 18, 2026. It is the third annual event.

Location

The event takes place at Screamin' Hill Brewery in Cream Ridge, New Jersey. This is described as New Jersey's first farm brewery. The 5K course runs through the grounds where ingredients for the brewery are grown.

Course & Timing

The course is a cross-country style route on groomed trails and short-cut grass. The event is chip-timed with instant results. There is a water station on the course, and water and bananas are available at the finish line. There is a one-hour time limit requested for participants. Walkers and children are welcome.

Participant Information

Registration is limited to 300 participants. All participants receive a coaster-style finisher medal. Each entry includes a custom technical race shirt available in women's, men's/unisex, and youth sizes. Participants aged 21 and over receive a ticket for one craft beer, with soda available for those under 21.

Packet pickup is on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the "Good Day for a Run" tent. Participants are asked to arrive by 8:30 AM to check in. The event is held rain or shine, with no refunds or deferrals.

Awards

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to age group winners in categories starting from 14 & under.

Post-Race Activities

After the race, there is an after-party featuring live music from 9:45 AM to noon, a food truck, and free downloadable photos taken by a professional photographer. Spectators are welcome, and the brewery remains open during the event. Parking is free.
