Event overview

Scout Mountain Ultras is an annual trail running weekend held the first weekend of June in the mountains outside Pocatello, Idaho. The 2026 edition takes place June 5-6. The Mink Creek Group site serves as the race headquarters and finish area. The event describes itself as a community gathering that highlights trail running and includes efforts to reduce environmental impact, limit waste, and donate proceeds to conservation and environmental efforts. The event is also listed as a qualifier for the Hardrock Endurance Run. The organizers state a policy to reserve at least 50 percent of the field at each event for women, femme and non-binary participants and prohibit harassment in race and online spaces.
