Trail Running calendar near Pocatello 2026-2027

The ninth annual Over The Top Trail Race on May 9, 2026 takes place on singletrack in Pocatello's City Creek Trail System. Multiple distances from 5 km to 30 km follow routes with overlooks, wildflowers, climbs and switchbacks.

Experience a mountain running event in Idaho featuring distances from 23 miles to a 100 mile ultra. Navigate technical trails with significant vertical gain while supporting environmental conservation and community inclusivity.

A last man standing race on a 1.1 mile loop in Inkom, ID, with 240 ft of elevation gain per loop. Runners must complete each loop within 20 minutes and are removed if they do not return in time.

A playful 5 km loop through Nature Park and Eagle Park where volunteers acting as zombies try to steal runners' flags. A separate 1 mile costume run has no zombies and suits participants who prefer a gentler experience.

Test your endurance in Idaho Falls at this winter backyard ultra. Complete 4.167 miles every hour on a varied terrain course until only one runner remains at the Bonneville County Exhibition Hall.
