Say My Name 5k and 1 Mile Walk - Lewes, DE

This annual event in Lewes benefits Rylie’s Smile Foundation and honors children who have faced pediatric cancer. It is held at American Legion Post 17 with activity on the Cape Henlopen State Park Trail. The event seeks to raise awareness for childhood cancer research and to support families in need.

Participants may run or walk the trail and are asked to acknowledge dedicated signs placed along the route by saying each child’s name as they pass. Signs are available for a donation and are displayed at the event each year. A virtual participation option is offered, with a mailed race shirt available for virtual registrants.
