23rd Annual Mariners Bethel Trail Run

The 23rd Annual Mariners Bethel Trail Run is a community running and walking event held at Camp Barnes in Frankford, Delaware. The course begins and ends on camp grounds and winds through scenic trails and roads in the Assawoman Wildlife Refuge. The route is described as flat and fast and is used for both run and walk divisions.

Event options and fees include:

• 6.2 Miles Trail run, pre registration fee $35
• 3.1 Miles Trail run, pre registration fee $35
• 1 Mile Walk, pre registration fee $25
• 2 Miles Walk, pre registration fee $25
• 3 Miles Walk, pre registration fee $25
• Kiddie Color Run Age 12 and under, pre registration fee $10
• Lunch meal ticket $10, 12 and under free

Pre registration opens January 30 and closes October 17. Race day fees are higher and T shirts are not guaranteed after October 12. Timing is provided using the Chronotrack B Chip system. Awards include overall champions, masters categories, ten year age groups, and medals to the top three finishers in each age group.

Post race amenities include a homemade lunch served by Mariners Bethel, live bluegrass music, custom T shirts, and a family friendly atmosphere. Proceeds benefit the children and youth ministries of Mariners Bethel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
