Wildwood Navy Seal Challenge
The Wildwood Navy Seal Challenge is a multisport obstacle event held at Lincoln Ave & the Beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. The event is hosted by the Wildwood Beach Patrol in conjunction with Even Kiel Racing. Participants can choose between several race formats involving swimming, running, and navigating specific physical obstacles located on the beach and in the water.
The event features the following distance and format options:
- Individual Challenge: A combination of a 1 mile ocean swim, a 5k run, and an obstacle course.
- 4 Person Team Challenge: A team version of the swim, run, and obstacle course where participants hold a pipe while completing obstacles together.
- Land Run Only Challenge: A run based obstacle course without the swimming component.
- Kids Run Challenge: A running obstacle course specifically for younger participants.
The course features an ocean swim followed by a run with sand and water obstacles. These obstacles include running over hills of sand and through water sections. Registration and check-in take place at the event site. Event parking is available at the Baker Avenue Parking Lot, as there is no access provided via Schellenger Avenue.
