Race4Warriors 5K, 10K & Half Marathon Challenges
Race4Warriors takes place on May 9, 2026 in Lewes, Delaware, beginning and ending at American Legion Post 17. The event supports Wounded Warriors and Homeless Veterans and aims to connect military and civilian communities. The courses pass through Cape Henlopen State Park and the historic Fort Miles, and all three distances are USATF certified.

- Half Marathon
For each distance participants may choose one of three formats: a Run, a March (race-walk), or a Heavy March, which is a trail event that requires a 15 lb pack. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at American Legion Post 17 and also on race morning near the starting area.
The event is presented in three components: Competition, Education, and Celebration. An on-site Middle East historical exhibit will be available as an educational walk-through. A Celebration of Warriors area will include local vendors and live music. Participants who pre-register by May 3, 2026 are guaranteed an event t-shirt at check-in. All finishers receive a race medallion. The event is planned to proceed in normal weather conditions; activities may be adjusted if conditions make the environment unsafe.
