Course, distances and logistics
The course is built from three loops run counterclockwise in the order 5.64, 8.2, then 4.3 miles. Solo and three-person relay formats are offered; on relay teams each member runs one loop then tags the next runner. Completing one cycle of all loops totals about 19.22 miles; doing the course twice totals about 38.45 miles.

Virtual runners may upload their results and will receive a mailed medal and t-shirt; registration two weeks before the event is suggested to guarantee a shirt. Packet pickup is at the staging area. Hot food and drinks are listed for participants, with vegetarian options. Free canned beer will be available for those 21 and older with ID; non-runners are asked to donate $5 to the beer fund. Volunteers receive $10 per hour credit plus two additional credit hours for the drive.
