Saturn Running - Midweek Chasing Numbers Jan 2027

This is a daylong, seven hour Time Challenge held by Saturn Running on a signed loop along the River Thames. The event aims to offer low cost midweek runs so participants can build their race numbers or pursue personal distance goals. Start times are flexible during the day. Membership provides access to the lowest entry price and a mini-me medal pin at each attended event. Runners in UK Athletics affiliated clubs receive a £2 discount. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.

The course is a loop that is normally 4.37 miles (about 7 km) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. The surface is approximately 60% made path or tarmac, with the remainder on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are usable year round; trail shoes may help on softer sections. The event includes 3k and 5k turn points to accommodate age rules.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are awarded for half-marathon and longer distances. Finishers also receive a standard goody bag or a vegan goody bag option. An aid table with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items is available at the start and finish of each lap.

Toilets are provided at the venue; there are no dedicated showers or separate changing rooms. A non secure bag drop area is available. Headphones are allowed and participants are asked to be considerate of other path users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
