Saturn Running - Midweek Chasing Numbers Sept 2026

Saturn Running presents a seven hour Time Challenge at The Last Hop in Staines. The event runs under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the Trail Running Association. Entrants may control how many laps they complete within the time limit; the minimum recorded distance for an official finish is 3 km.

The course follows a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. About 60% of the route is on a well made path or tarmac, with the remainder on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are suitable year round, with trail shoes optional for extra grip. A 3k and 5k turn point are provided on the lap to allow compliance with UK Athletics age restrictions.

Entry prices vary and the lowest price is available to members only; members are guaranteed entry and receive a mini-me medal pin at each event. Runners who belong to a UK Athletics affiliated club receive a £2.00 discount.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are available for half marathon, mega half, marathon, 50 km and ultra distances and are attached to the medal ribbon. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start and finish of each lap and goody bags are given to finishers, including a vegan option.

Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park in Staines. There is a non secure bag drop area. Headphones are permitted and participants are asked to be considerate of other path users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
