SATURN TOO - Midweek Medal Madness Run August 2026

Saturn Too holds a midweek timed running event on Friday 21 August 2026 at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club, Egham. The event is a seven hour time challenge held along a stretch of the River Thames. The course is fully signed and mainly on made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable. The regular course may be adjusted for health and safety reasons.

Distances and lap structure:

  • Minimum distance 3 km
  • Full lap 4.37 miles / 7 km, subject to change
  • Half marathon equals 3 laps
  • Marathon equals 6 laps
  • Ultra equals 7 laps or more; 50 km option available

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal and a goody bag. Distance pins are awarded for half marathon, mega half, marathon, 50 km and ultra achievements. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start / finish of each lap with a selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the venue and a non secure bag area is provided at the start / finish. Parking is available at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds pay on exit carpark. Headphones are permitted and runners should be considerate of other public path users.

Maximum entrants are 300. Minimum age is 12 years. Anyone running over 45 km must be 20 years or older; 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km. Transfers are allowed online for £2.50 up to the day before the event and deferrals are available for a fee of £18. A four evening summer series at Dinton Pastures with 5 km and 10 km races plus a 2 km kids event. Off road and traffic free, the series offers chip timing, finisher medals, instant results and on site first aid.

A 50 mile point to point ultramarathon along the North Downs Way with 5,600 ft of ascent, six aid stations and a 13 hour cut off. The route is mostly trail and requires specific qualifying and mandatory kit.

The Twenty Sixth Compton Downland Challenge in Compton, Berkshire on 16 May 2026 features a full marathon and a 16 mile race with a seven hour time limit; route maps, elevation profiles and videos are provided.

Run through scenic vineyard hills at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking on 16 May 2026 on a 5.3 km undulating off road loop. Choose as many laps as you like for distances from 5 km up to ultra with flexible start times and limited places.
