SATURN Midweek Chasing Numbers Aug 2026, Egham

SATURN Midweek Chasing Numbers takes place on Friday 14 August 2026 at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Egham TW20 0AE. It is a seven hour timed challenge in which participants choose how far to run within the allotted time. Flexible start times are offered throughout the day.

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed and mainly on well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable year round. The regular course may be altered close to the event subject to health and safety review and land owner approval.

Distances and lap details

  • Minimum official distance 3 km
  • Full lap approximately 7 km or 4.37 miles
  • Alternative loop of 3.28 miles possible
  • 3 laps equals a half marathon
  • 6 laps equals a marathon
  • 7 or more laps counts as an ultra, 50 km option available

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal and a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is available. Distance pins are issued for half marathon, mega half, marathon, 50 km and ultra distances. An aid and drinks table is available at the start and finish of each lap with a selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities are at race headquarters which includes a cafe. Bag drop is unmanned and items are left at participants own risk. Parking is available in a pay on exit car park at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Headphones are allowed. Events are on public footpaths so participants should be considerate of other path users.

Event limits and conditions include a maximum of 300 entrants, entries close 13/08/2026, minimum age 12 years, and age restrictions for long distances: entrants over 45 km must be 20 years or older while 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km. A flexible 6-hour timed run along the flat, scenic Jubilee River near Slough. Run as many laps as you like on the 5.24-mile course, with everyone receiving a finisher's medal. The route offers countryside views and a riverside path.

A seven hour timed Chasing Numbers event on 12 June 2026 in Egham with a signed lap course along the River Thames. Finishers from 3 km receive a medal and goody bag and distance pins are available for longer achievements.

A flexible Friday run along the Thames. Choose your start time and your distance, from a 5k lap to an ultra. It's a smaller event with a lower fee, but you still get one of the famous Phoenix medals.

A timed multi-lap event on a flat 5.3 km out and back towpath course along the Thames offering distances from 5 km up to ultra with flexible start times, themed ducky incentives and a large spinning medal for finishers.
