Saturn Running - Midweek Chasing Numbers Aug 2026

The Midweek Chasing Numbers run is a 7 hour time challenge held at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds in Egham. Participants have the flexibility to choose their distance and duration within the seven-hour limit. The event takes place on a flat course along the River Thames, primarily consisting of well-made paths and tarmac with a short grass section. Standard road shoes are appropriate for these surfaces.

The course is based on a lap format, where a single full lap is approximately 7 km (4.37 miles). Runners can complete any number of laps to reach their personal goals. Specific distances achievable include:

  • 3 km
  • 5 km
  • Half Marathon (3 laps)
  • Marathon (6 laps)
  • 50 km
  • Ultra Marathon (7 or more laps)

Participants who complete at least 3 km are considered finishers and receive a medal. Those who reach half marathon distance or further are eligible for distance-specific pins to attach to their medal ribbon. An aid station situated at the start and finish of each lap provides a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, including vegan options.

Race headquarters at the Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club offers toilets, changing facilities, and a cafe. An unmanned bag drop area is available near the start line. Parking is located at the Runnymede Pleasure Grounds on a pay-on-exit basis. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
