Saturn Running - Midweek Chasing Numbers July 2026

The Midweek Chasing Numbers event is a 7-hour time challenge held in Egham along the River Thames. The event structure allows participants full control over their distance by running as many or as few laps as they choose within the time limit. A single full lap is approximately 7 km (4.37 miles), though this may be adjusted to a 5.28 km (3.28 mile) loop depending on course conditions.

The course follows a flat route on well-made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. It is fully signed and suitable for road shoes. Participants can achieve various milestones based on the number of laps completed:

  • 3 km
  • 5 km
  • 7 km
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • 50 km
  • Ultra Marathon

A minimum distance of 3 km is required to be an official finisher and receive a medal. Runners completing a half marathon or further also receive specific distance pins. The event includes a well-stocked aid station at the start and finish of each lap, featuring sweet and savoury snacks, fruit, and vegan options.

The race headquarters at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club provides access to toilets and a cafe. Parking is available at the Runnymede Pleasure Grounds on a pay-on-exit basis. Registration and number pick-up take place on the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
