SATURN - Remembrance Run 2026 - South
The event takes place on 07 November 2026 and is a timed challenge lasting 7 hours and 2 minutes. Runners choose their own distance, with a minimum of 3 km. The course is lap-based: a full lap is listed as 7 km (also described as 4.37 miles) though organisers note it may be a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. Turn points at 3 km and 5 km are provided to meet UK Athletics age rules. Lap counts given: 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon, 7 or more for an ultra; a 50 km option is available. Anyone wishing to run over 45 km must be at least 20 years old; 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km. Minimum age is 12. Maximum entrants 300. Entries close 06/11/2026. A two minute silence will be observed at 11:00 and two minutes will be deducted from official times.
Course, facilities and race services
Location is Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club, Egham, TW20 0AE, along a stretch of the River Thames. The course is fully signed and mixes well maintained paths, a small grass section and some trail; sections can become muddy in adverse weather. There is an aid and drinks table at the start/finish of each lap with savoury and sweet options and vegan choices. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal and a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is available. Distance pins are provided for half-marathon and longer distances. Toilets and changing facilities are at race HQ. A bag area is provided but is not staffed and items are left at the runner's sole risk. Headphones are allowed. Transfers are permitted online for £2.50 up to the day before the event; deferrals to another event carry a one-off fee of £18.
