SATURN - Remembrance Run 2026 - South
The event is held in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice during conflicts. During the event there is a two minute silence to commemorate the fallen; two minutes are deducted from each runner’s official time.
This is a 7 hour and 2 minute timed challenge on a signed loop next to the River Thames. Participants choose how many laps to complete subject to UK Athletics age restrictions. Minimum distance is 3 km; lap length is listed as 7 km (4.37 miles) but may be a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The route includes 3 km and 5 km turn points to support younger runners and distance compliance.

Finishers completing at least 3 km receive a commemorative medal and a goody bag; distance pins are issued for half-marathon and longer distances. Transfers and deferrals are offered under stated fees and deadlines. Headphones are allowed and runners share public footpaths with other users.
