Sanders' Saunter Charity Race is a trail running event held at Clinton State Park near Lawrence, KS and organized by the Lawrence Trail Hawks. The event offers multiple race distances and follows marked park trails that traverse Sanders Mound and local shoreline trails. Packet pickup is available race morning and the evening before at Lawrence Beer Company WEST.

The course starts and finishes at Shelter 1, Corps of Engineers. Runners follow the white trail west, turn south onto the yellow trail to ascend and descend Sanders Mound, then continue on marked connector and blue trails depending on distance. 10K runners access the Lake Henry aid station and return on the blue trail. 25K runners complete one early trip to the mound. The 50K consists of two loops of the 25K course; there is an 11:30 am cutoff to start the second lap.
Aid stations are placed on the course, including Lake Henry and Lands Ends, and a Start/Finish aid station. 25K and 50K runners must carry a handheld or hydration pack. Drop bags are allowed at Lands Ends and the Start/Finish aid station.
The event includes awards for top finishers by gender category, a dog friendly policy requiring leashes and owner cleanup, and a Hero Runner fundraising program with tiered rewards. Race entries are nontransferable and nonrefundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
