Sanders' Saunter is an annual charity trail race held at Clinton State Park in Lawrence, KS. The event is organized by the Lawrence Trail Hawks and is presented as the 18th annual Sanders Saunter Race. The start and finish are at Shelter 1, Corps of Engineers, with routes using the park white, yellow and blue trails and including runs up and down Sanders Mound.

Course notes describe 25K runners making one trip up the mound, and 50K runners completing two loops of the 25K course. 25K and 50K participants are required to carry a handheld or hydration pack. Drop bags are available at Lands End and at the start/finish aid station. Aid stations are listed with mile markers including Lake Henry and Lands Ends locations.

The event includes a Hero Runner fundraising program with tiers of $250, $500 and $750 that provide race registration and tiered rewards such as a sweatshirt, a lightweight runner hat and VIP parking, and higher tier prizes. Donations are requested by October 26 to allow SWAG ordering.

Packet pickup is available race morning and Friday evening at Lawrence Beer Company WEST. The race is dog friendly; dogs must be leashed and owners must clean up after them.
