Salmon Falls 50K Endurance Run

The Salmon Falls 50K Endurance Run is a point-to-point ultramarathon located in the foothills of Sacramento, California. The event is organized by Coloma River Races, a non-profit organization that utilizes race proceeds to support Breakthrough T1D in its mission to treat and cure type 1 diabetes. The course travels through the California gold country, offering participants views of the local landscape as they navigate the trail system.

The 50 km course begins at the Magnolia Ranch Trailhead near Coloma. From the start, the route incorporates the majority of the trails within the Cronan Ranch area. Participants follow the trails as they wind through the foothills, eventually heading toward the finish line located at Folsom Lake. The terrain consists of adventurous trails characterizes the region between Coloma and Folsom.

Logistical arrangements for the event include shuttle services and packet pick-up options for registered participants. A multi distance trail event in Auburn California from 23 to 26 April 2026 following sections of the Western States Trail. Distances include 161 km, 100 km, 50 km and 25 km and the 100 km awards Western States Golden Tickets.

Trail races inside Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park range from a Kids Run to a half marathon on varied singletrack and paved sections, with marked courses, aid stations, and notable elevation gains.

A multi-distance trail event at Browns Ravine Marina on May 2, 2026 featuring 10K, half, 35K and 50K courses on marked single and double track around Folsom Lake. Aid stations are stocked and the event is cupless.

A spring trail race in Cool, California on May 9, 2026, with 5.8 and 10.3 mile single-track courses featuring meadows, hills, a creek crossing, and a tough climb; limited to 600 runners and entries are non-refundable.
