Saint Marys Lake Trail Series is a trail running event near Leonardtown, MD at Saint Marys Lake. The event offers three distances:

Course and logistics

The race is one, two, or three laps of an approximately 10.5 mile loop around the lake and into Salem Forest. Each lap totals about 500 ft of elevation gain and loss. The surface is roughly 75% single track with dirt, roots, rocks, and wooden bridges, 20% forest road, and 5% crushed gravel along the dam. Trail markings are in place and some mud or wet sections may be present.

The main aid station is at the park entrance on Camp Cosoma Road, and a second aid station is near the Salem Forest parking lot on Indian Bridge Road. The second station may not be staffed continuously and can receive drop bags. The trail remains open to the public during the event and may include mountain bikers, walkers, leashed pets, and horseback riders.
