Course and aid stations

The race uses an approximately 10.5 mile loop around the lake perimeter and into Salem Forest, run in one, two, or three laps. The lake and connected trails total about 250 acres of water, a 7.5 mile main route, and roughly 8 miles of additional trails. Surface composition is about 75% single track (dirt, roots, rock, wooden bridges), 20% forest road, and 5% crushed gravel along the dam. Each lap has about 500 ft of cumulative elevation gain and loss. Expect some mud or wet sections depending on conditions.

The main aid station is at the park entrance on Camp Cosoma Road with warm food, drink, toilets, parking, and a small covered area. A second aid station near Salem Forest on Indian Bridge Road offers food, drink, and a porta potty but may not be staffed continuously; drop bags are allowed. The trail remains open to other users during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
