Course Details
The run takes place on the Sandridge Trail in Jennings State Forest, starting from 2A Live Oak Ln in Middleburg, Florida. The course is described as wide, flat, and runner-friendly, alternating between covered and non-covered areas. The half marathon and 10k routes cross several small bridges over freshwater streams.
The event offers three distances, each with distinct course markings:
- Big Dog 1/2 Marathon (Two-loop course): Trail marked with pink tree blazes and blue flags. Features two aid stations.
- Little Pup 10k (One-loop course): Trail marked with pink tree blazes and blue flags. Features one aid station.
- Kitten 5k (Out-and-back course): Trail marked with orange flags. Has no aid station.
Aid stations for the longer distances provide water, HEED, and gels. Participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration systems.
Additional Information
Packet pickup occurs on the event day. The event is dog-friendly, and owners are responsible for their pets. There is no time cutoff for the races.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each event. Every participant receives a swag bag with one free raffle ticket.
