The event is a fundraising trail run supporting Safe Animal Shelter and is held on the Sandridge Trail in Jennings State Forest near Middleburg, Florida. The course routes include wooded and open sections, several small bridges over freshwater streams, and generally wide, flat, runner-friendly trails. Trees on the route are blazed with pink paint and trails are marked with colored flags.

Distances offered:

Aid supplies include water, HAMMER HEED, and HAMMER gels; a second station near the start offers water. Participants are asked to bring a hand-held bottle or a hydration vest or belt; a limited number of cups may be available.
