Running Wild Trail Run

Chana, United States • 14 Jun 2025

The "Running Wild" Trail and Fun Run is held at the Rochelle Wildlife Conservation Club in Chana, Illinois. This family-friendly event features a challenging approximately 3-mile trail race on a double-loop course with hill climbs, rocky terrain, and possible mud, making it unsuitable for strollers. A 1-mile paved fun run is also offered, ideal for strollers and all ages.

The event includes multiple race categories for adults, youth, and children under five, with both timed and untimed options. Beyond racing, participants enjoy a day of activities such as corn hole tournaments, kids' entertainment, music, food, and post-race festivities including a steak fry, beer garden, and live and silent auctions. Proceeds support scholarships and educational grants in memory of Maggie and Amos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
