Running Tribe Races take place on looped courses around Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire. Courses **1, 2 and 3** are based at Chalfont Park Sports Club, while courses **4, 5 and 6** start from Chalfont St. Peter Community Centre in Gerrards Cross. Runners choose their target distance on the day.

The event uses **7k** and **10k** style loops, and participants can complete: - **7k** - **10k** - **14k** - **Half Marathon** - **Full Marathon** - **30 mile or 40 mile Ultra Marathon** (course dependent) On the **10.8 km loop** used for some courses, the route is about **80% trail and 20% road**, using public footpaths and woods. Six laps of this loop total around **2,100 ft of climb**. Courses include clearly marked routes and road crossings. There is one aid station at the start and finish area, offering water, soft drinks, and vegan and vegetarian food.

Runners may use a large drop bag at the loop point for shoes, clothing, nutrition or other kit. Pacers are allowed at any stage of the race, and crew members can support at any point along the course. Medals are awarded for **1st, 2nd and 3rd place** in the **7k, 10k, 14k, Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon** categories. The qualification standard is that participants are able to run or walk **7k**.

Required kit includes a water bottle of at least 500 ml, a fully charged mobile phone, a head torch in winter, warm hat, own cup, jacket and gloves. At least one fully trained medic is on standby during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Trail runs nearby

Take to flat, scenic trails through Alexandra Gardens beside Windsor Castle with chip timing and friendly post race goodies. Choose 10K or half marathon, enjoy well marked routes, free photos and an event village for food and drinks.

Trail running on 31 January 2026 at Hound House Road in Surrey with 10 km and 15 km routes over hilly mixed terrain. Parking, toilets and refreshments are available; entries close 29 January 2026.

The Pilgrim Challenge will take place in Farnham from Saturday 7 February 2026 to Sunday 8 February 2026. You can run 66 miles.
