Running Tribe Races

Gerrards Cross, United Kingdom • 24 Jan 2026

Event overview

Running Tribe Races take place at two venues in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire: Chalfont Park Sports Club and Chalfont St. Peter Community Centre. The event uses a loop format with either a 10.8 km loop (Course 1,2,3) or a 7 km loop (Course 4,5,6). Entrants choose on the day which distance to complete. The event offers multiple distance options across the two course groups, including:

  • 7 km
  • 10 km
  • 14 km
  • Half Marathon
  • Full Marathon
  • Ultra Marathon (listed as 30 mile and 40 mile options)

The 10.8 km loop is described as about 80% trail and 20% road, using public footpaths and woods; six laps of that loop equal approximately 2,100 ft of climb. Time limits are set per course group (for example 9 hours and 8 hours).

Course details, facilities and rules

There is one aid station at the start/finish offering water, soft drinks and vegan and vegetarian food. The course will be marked and road crossings will be clearly indicated. Pacers are allowed at any stage. Medals are awarded to first, second and third places in 7 km, 10 km, 14 km, Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon categories. Entrants should be able to run or walk 7 km. Recommended kit includes a water bottle (minimum 500 ml), a fully charged mobile phone, head torch (winter only), warm hat, own cup, jacket and gloves. At least one fully trained medic will be on standby and crew members may be positioned at any point along the course. The event is organised by Running Tribe. Prices vary by event.
