FunRunForJo 2026

FunRunForJo 2026 is a community fundraising event held at Oakwell Hall and Country Park in Birstall, West Yorkshire. The main activity is a roughly 2.5 km family fun run on a multi terrain, undulating course of one lap. The route is not suitable for wheelchairs and the field is managed with marshals in place.

The event day includes food stalls, a bar, a mascots' race and other entertainment. Fancy dress is optional and there may be prizes. Race facilities listed include water, distance markers, toilets and an unattended baggage store; items left in baggage must be collected by 1pm and are left at the owner’s risk. Children under 11 must remain with a responsible adult at all times and booking a place for an under 11 indicates acceptance of responsibility for their safety.

Entry is limited to 150 places and the published entry fee is £10. Entry on the day is not available. Proceeds from the event are allocated to MoreInCommon Batley & Spen to support local projects. The event is described as the tenth and final RunForJo held at this location to mark the life and values the event commemorates. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
