Tewinbury Trail 5K & 10K

Tewinbury Trail 5K & 10K is a pair of off-road races held at the Tewinbury estate and hotel in Hertfordshire. The event offers two waymarked distances that run entirely on trails around the hotel grounds and surrounding countryside.

  • 5K (100 m elevation)
  • 10K (180 m elevation)

Routes are undulating and use a mix of dirt, grass and woodland single track and wider firm tracks. Navigation is simple and assisted by orange signage and marshals, and organisers provide GPX files for reference. There is a water and nutrition station on the 10K course at about 5.3 km; cups are provided and supplies include water, gels and jellybabies.

Entry provisions and event services include chip timing with live results, a finisher souvenir, medical support, on-route photography, bag drop and onsite car parking. The event has a maximum field of 400 runners. Minimum ages are 12 for the 5K and 16 for the 10K. Dogs are not permitted. Fixed toilet facilities are available on site and Tewinbury provide pre and post event refreshments at the finish. The race is held under UKA rules and is permitted by the TRA with permit details to be confirmed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
