Hughenden Valley 10K

The Hughenden Valley 10K is a trail running event held on the National Trust's Hughenden Manor estate near High Wycombe. The course follows a mixture of woodland and rural trails through the countryside of Buckinghamshire. The terrain is hilly with a total elevation gain of approximately 195m.

The route is fully marked using arrow markers and orange ribbons, with marshals stationed along the course to assist with navigation. There are no major road crossings. Due to the nature of the terrain, some sections may be wet and muddy regardless of the season, and trail running shoes are essential for participants.

Registration is open to runners aged 16 and over. The event base at Hughenden Manor provides various facilities, including car parking, toilets, and a cafe. The start and finish area is located on the park grounds near the church. For those traveling by rail, the High Wycombe train station is a 25-minute walk from the venue.

Participants have access to various services and amenities:

  • 10 km distance
  • Chip timing with live results
  • One aid station at the 5.3 km mark
  • Medical support and bag drop
  • Finisher souvenir
  • Free parking and entry to Hughenden Manor

Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers, as well as winners in age categories ranging from V40 to V70. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
