Details
Both the 5k and the 1 mile run/walk start on the beach at the Jacksonville Beach Pier, head north to a halfway point, and return to the start/finish area. Packet pickup is on race morning between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. The 5k will be chip timed by Florida Race Day and will award fastest runners by age and gender. Race registration fees listed are $35 for the 5k and $20 for the 1 mile event. Race entries include a race shirt, a finisher medal, and a koozie. Net proceeds will go to Fur Sisters Furever Urs Rescue. A post-race gathering is planned at Lynches Pub in Jacksonville Beach. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
