Run Upcote Spring Trail takes place on Sunday 29 March 2026 at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham (GL54 4BL). The event is a small, limited-entry trail race with approximately 300 places. It is affiliated with England Athletics, licensed by the Trail Running Association, and will be run under UK Athletics rules.
Course and details
The course is 5 miles long and is entirely off-road, using farm road, grass, bridleway, permissive paths and forest tracks, mostly on private routes at Upcote Farm (home of 2000 Trees Festival and The Barn At Upcote). The route includes climbs, flowing forest tracks and descents and offers views across the Cotswolds.
Competitors must be at least 16 years old on the date of the race. Chip timing is provided by Lush Timing and medals are given to all finishers. Food and toilet facilities are available on site. Prizes are awarded to the first three overall male and female finishers, the first Junior Male and Female (U18), and veteran categories MV40, MV50, MV60, MV70 and FV40, FV50, FV60, FV70.
