Run to the Sea Bournemouth is a multi-terrain ultra marathon that follows a point-to-point route through Dorset. The course begins at Moors Valley Country Park in Ashley Heath and concludes at Hengistbury Head in Bournemouth.

The event features a single distance:

  • 50 km

The 50 km course is characterized by flat terrain and scenic views, utilizing a mix of forest trails and seafront paths. The route is fully signed, and participants are provided with a GPS route file for navigation. To support runners during the event, there are four designated feed stations positioned along the course. Participants have the option to have their personal nutrition delivered specifically to the third and fourth feed stations.

The organization provides several services for the event, including dedicated medical support and free downloadable photography for participants. A bespoke medal is awarded to those who finish the course. Predictive tracking is included for all runners, with an optional upgrade for real-time tracking available. A single-loop 50 km trail race around the South Downs, starting and finishing in Arundel. Mostly trail with about 3,000 ft ascent, four aid stations, live GPS tracking and UTMB Index status worth 2 ITRA points.
