The Magna Carta Summer race, organized by Hermes Running, takes place in scenic Runnymede, Surrey, near the historic site where the Magna Carta was signed in 1215. The event offers three distances: a 10K, half marathon, and marathon, all starting by the River Thames at the Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club. The courses are flat, fast, and out-and-back laps along well-established river paths, featuring turnaround points at Staines Bridge and Old Windsor Lock. The routes are fully marked and marshalled, with well-stocked checkpoints.
