Magna Carta Summer

This running event offers three distances: a 10 km, a half marathon, and a marathon. The start and finish for all races is at the Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club HQ in Egham. The courses follow established paths along the River Thames, featuring out-and-back sections.

The 10 km route includes a short out-and-back loop towards Staines Bridge and a longer section to Old Windsor Lock. The half marathon consists of two short loops and two long loops. The marathon comprises five long loops to Old Windsor Lock and back. The listed distances are approximately 10.09 km, 13.14 miles, and 26.35 miles, accounting for GPS variances. Turnaround points are fully marked and marshalled.

A previous participant review notes the trails are well established, with only a small muddy section. Parking is available next to the start for a fee, and bib collection and toilets were reported as easy to access. The event has featured a rock choir at the start. The area is near Runnymede and the Thames, with countryside and monuments nearby. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
