Run to the Beach - Tahoe Vista (July 4, 2026)

Run to the Beach is a July 4 event held at North Tahoe Regional Park and finishing at Tahoe Vista Recreation Area Beach on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The course follows scenic trails around North Lake Tahoe and ends on sandy shorelines suitable for swimming and relaxing. Tahoe Vista and North Lake Tahoe have evening fireworks or a drone light show planned.

• 10K with a memorable climb

Parking is available at North Tahoe Regional Park for a small fee; the parking area is under one mile from the race finish. The event includes post-event festivities with music, food and beverages, recovery food such as fruit, and on-site medical staff. Participants receive an event T-shirt and a free digital race photo.

A costume and attire contest takes place at the finish area; judging is informal with fellow runners helping select winners and prizes awarded for creative outfits.

Entry fees vary by distance, age category, and registration date. Example prices: 10K generally $60 early and $65 later; 5K generally $55 early and $60 later. Youth (18 and under) and seniors (65 and older) have reduced rates. Discounts and team codes are available on request; military participants may receive a 20 percent discount with military ID at packet pick-up.
