HOKA High Camp Challenge

The HOKA High Camp Challenge takes place in Olympic Valley, CA and uses the official start line of the Western States 100 as its starting location. The course runs on trails around High Camp and includes an uphill section; participants may use the gondola to return down the mountain. The event is presented by Western States Starting Line and includes an after party at the High Camp Lodge where the band Caltucky will perform.

A youth activity precedes the main event: the HOKA 100.2m Dash for children 12 and under. This short run begins at the same Western States start line so kids can experience the first 100.2 meters of the WSER course. Packet pick up is available at the KT Deck next to FlyLab on the day before the event and at the KT Deck Bar next to FlyLab on race day. Kids check in takes place at the KT Deck next to FlyLab.

The event is described as a free opportunity for Western States 100 crew members, family supporters, and the local trail community. Organizers note that donations are accepted and that proceeds benefit the WSER Foundation. Registration for the event closes on June 22 prior to the event date of June 26, 2026.
