Trail Running Adventure in the Chiltern Hills
The Run the Wild Half Marathon - Autumn Edition is a guided trail running event held in the Chiltern Hills. Participants follow a route of approximately 21 km (13 miles) that passes through local woodlands and over undulating chalk hills. The course features an approximate ascent of 300 m.
This event is organized as a guided group run rather than a competitive race. Runners are grouped by ability, and each group is accompanied by an English Athletics qualified Run Leader. The experience includes instruction on trail running techniques, such as managing hills and different terrain. To participate, runners should be able to complete a 10 km road run in 90 minutes or less.
The event starts at the Iron Room in Tring, which is a three-minute walk from Tring train station. Facilities at the start and finish include toilets and a bag drop area. A well-stocked refreshment point is provided just after the halfway mark of the route.

Participants receive a finisher's medal and a Trees not Tees certificate upon completion. The event is dog-friendly for those using appropriate cani-cross equipment.
