RTT Afan Forest Trail

The RTT Afan Forest Trail is a trail running event held at Bryn Bettws Lodge in Pontrhydyfen, Port Talbot. This event serves as the final race of the 2026 RTT Series, where the final standings are determined and the series champions are crowned. The event features two distinct distances:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km

Participants follow separate, fully marked, and marshalled routes through the varied terrain and scenery of the Afan Forest. The 10 km and 5 km races are open to individuals aged 16 and over. Organized by Aspire X Events, the competition uses chip timing to record official results for all participants.

Water stations are situated along the routes to assist runners. Facilities at the venue include on-site parking at Bryn Bettws Lodge, with the cost of parking included in the entry fee. Each participant who completes their distance receives a finisher's medal. An award ceremony takes place following the completion of the races to recognize top performers.
