Run the Rock | Leesburg is a trail 5K held at Luck Stone Leesburg in Ashburn, Virginia on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The event takes place inside an active rock quarry and uses gravel surfaces; runners are encouraged to wear trail running shoes. Entry price for the listed 5K is $25. Registration opens December 8, 2025. The event is open to participants up to age 100. Proceeds benefit the Reeves Community Center Foundation.
Logistics and on-site information
On-site parking will be available and volunteers will direct traffic; dedicated handicapped parking is available on request. Check-in is required before the race and bibs are not transferable. Live results will be tracked during the race and an on-stage award ceremony recognizes overall male and female winners and age group divisions; all finishers receive a finisher's medal. The event includes a post-race area with food and beverages for purchase, a raffle (winners must be present), and family activities such as face painting, bounce house, craft stations, yard games, and touch-a-truck. No coolers or alcohol are allowed. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted on the course.
