Run the Ranch

Run the Ranch is a trail racing event held at the Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch in Loveland, Colorado. The event takes place on a private ranch, providing participants with exclusive access to trails featuring a variety of terrain and scenery.

The event offers several race options held over two days:

  • 10K (Friday evening)
  • 5K (Friday evening)
  • 12-Hour Solo (Saturday)
  • 12-Hour Relay for 2-person or 4-person teams (Saturday)
  • 6-Hour (Saturday)
  • 4-Hour (Saturday)

Saturday participants have access to a Hot Lap option during the final hour of the event, allowing for the completion of a partial lap if a full lap cannot be finished before the cutoff. For relay teams, every member is required to complete at least one full lap.

This is a cupless event, and participants are required to bring their own hydration systems, such as water bottles or packs. The main aid station is located at the start and finish area, providing water, electrolyte drinks, and various foods including burgers, chips, and sweets. Saturday participants also have access to a designated drop bag area.

The ranch requires a daily access fee for all participants and spectators. On-site lodging in cabins and tent, car, or van camping are available for an additional fee.
