Distances and basic format:

  • Two mile single lap, finishers medals, top male and female.
  • Four mile two laps, finishers medals, top male and female, age group awards.
  • Ten mile five laps, maximum 50 participants, multiple shooting stages.

Age group awards for the four mile division are offered in these categories: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. The ten mile division awards the top five male and top five female finishers and is limited to fifty participants.

The ten mile course includes three one-shot steel target stages: pistol at 25 feet on lap two, shotgun at 100 feet on lap three, and rifle at 100 yards on lap four. Time penalties are added for missed shots: 1 minute for pistol, 2 minutes for shotgun, and 3 minutes for rifle. The ten mile division has a 3.5 hour time limit.

Packet pickup is available on both Friday and Saturday; triple hollow participants must pick up their packet on Friday. Safety briefings are held on Friday. Award ceremonies occur separately for the divisions. Results can be posted automatically to Twitter when participants connect their account.
