Run Stubborn 25k and 50k
Run Stubborn is a trail race held at Carver's Creek State Park near Fayetteville, North Carolina. The event offers two race distances and uses trails that include both commonly known sections and areas described as not normally open to the public. The course passes several lakes and ponds and is described as runnable technical trail. Organizers state there are no out and backs and no two way traffic.
The 50K is set as two laps of a single loop described as a true 16 mile loop. A hard cutoff applies to the start of the second lap for 50K entrants, and 50K runners have nine hours to finish. Participants in the 25K run the same loop once; the organizer notes there is no specified time cutoff for the 25K.
