82nd Airborne Division Association's 9/11 Run to Remember 5K

Test your limits on a USATF certified asphalt loop in Lillington. This supported endurance event features a lit course at night and convenient trackside camping for a personalized running experience.

Deerfly Trail Race at Carvers Creek State Park features timed 11K and 6K courses plus canine-only events on October 17, 2026. The event is limited to 200 participants and includes year-six shirts, coins, and cash awards for course records.

A trail run at Cape Fear Shiner Park in Lillington with a 1.17-mile loop and timed 9-, 6-, and 3-hour events. The cup-less fundraiser donates proceeds to Harnett Food Pantry; all finishers receive a medal and electronic timing is used.

Trail races at Carver's Creek State Park near Fayetteville offering 25K and a 50K run over two laps of a 16 mile loop; the 50K has a hard cutoff for the second lap and a nine hour finish limit.
