Cape Fear Holiday Run

The Cape Fear Holiday Run is a timed trail event at Cape Fear Shiner Park, 350 Alexander Drive, Lillington, NC. The course uses a 1.17 mile loop that combines singletrack trail with a short paved section. The event offers 9 hour, 6 hour, and 3 hour timed formats.

There is ample parking and space to set up a personal aid station near the start/finish area. Event support includes a single aid station stocked with water, Gatorade, soft drinks, and a variety of snacks. The event is cup-less; participants should bring reusable cups, handheld bottles, or hydration packs. Limited disposable cups will be available.

All finishers receive a finisher's medal. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each timed format, and a special award will recognize the participant with the most holiday spirit. Electronic timing is provided by Clockwork Race Timing.

Porta-potties will be available on site in 2026 and permanent restrooms are planned for the future. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Harnett Food Pantry, a registered 501(c)(3). Registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable. Registrations received by November 10, 2026 are guaranteed a T-shirt; registration closes December 10, 2026.
