Cape Fear Holiday Run

The Cape Fear Holiday Run is a timed trail running event held at Cape Fear Shiner Park in Lillington, North Carolina. Participants can choose from a 9-hour, 6-hour, or 3-hour timed format. The course is a 1.17-mile loop combining trail and a short paved section.

A personal aid station area is available near the start/finish. One aid station on the course provides water, Gatorade, soft drinks, and snacks. The event is cup-less, so participants must bring their own reusable cup, bottle, or hydration pack.

All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each timed event, and there is a separate award for the best holiday attire. Electronic timing is provided.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Harnett Food Pantry. Registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by November 10, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
