Event details
The Cape Fear Holiday Run is scheduled for December 13, 2025 in Lillington, North Carolina at Cape Fear Shiner Park, 350 Alexander Drive. The event uses a 1.17-mile loop that mixes trail and a short paved section. Timed events offered include:
- 9-hour timed event
- 6-hour timed event
- 3-hour timed event
There is plenty of parking and space for participants to set up a personal aid station near the start/finish area.
Course and services
One on-course aid station will provide water, Gatorade, soft drinks, and a variety of snacks. The event is cup-less to reduce waste; participants are asked to bring reusable cups, handheld bottles, or hydration packs. Limited disposable cups will be available. Porta-potties will be on site in 2025 and permanent restroom facilities are planned for the future. Electronic timing will be provided by Clockwork Race Timing.
Awards, registration and charity
All finishers receive a finisher's medal. Special awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each timed event, plus a prize for the participant with the most holiday spirit. All proceeds will be donated to the Harnett Food Pantry. Registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable. Registration closes December 10, 2025; registrations made by November 11, 2025 are guaranteed a T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
