Deerfly Trail Race : Carvers Creek State Park
The Deerfly Trail Race takes place on October 17, 2026 at Carvers Creek State Park - Sandhills Access in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The event is in its sixth year; participants receive year-six shirts and commemorative coins, and each year features a unique race logo depicting the Deerfly. Cash awards will be offered for course records.
Timed distances are offered for runners. Canine-only events are available; a human must register along with each dog entered. The overall field is limited to 200 participants.
Online registration opens April 15, 2026. Registration for the timed 11K and 6K closes October 7, 2026. Registration for the canine-only 11K and 6K closes October 16, 2026. Listed entry fees are $45 for the 11K, $38 for the 6K, and $17 for each canine entry.
Packet pickup is scheduled Friday night, October 16; Heckler Brewing Company is listed as the event’s sole sponsor. Carvers Creek Access offers onsite parking.
