FRC Deerfly Trail Race
The FRC Deerfly Trail Race returns for its sixth year at Carvers Creek State Park. The event takes place at the Sandhills Access in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Participants run through wooded trails and receive a shirt and a coin featuring a unique race logo.
The event features four distinct categories for participants:
- 11K: A timed trail race covering 6.8 miles.
- 6K: A timed trail race covering 4.01 miles.
- Big Dog 11K: A 6.8 mile timed trail race specifically for canines accompanied by a registered human.
- Lil Pup 6K: A 4.01 mile timed trail race specifically for canines accompanied by a registered human.
The race has a registration limit of 200 participants. Cash awards are available for those who set new course records. Onsite parking is available at the Carvers Creek Access. A packet pickup and social gathering is scheduled for the Friday evening prior to the race at Heckler Brewing Company. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
