The course runs on park trails and includes sand, dirt roads, hard-packed trails and some pavement. Primary parking is at Picnic Areas 1-5 about 1/2 mile inside the Veteran's Highway entrance. Secondary parking is at the boat launch, with additional parking near the park entrance and the dog park. Bathrooms are a few minutes' walk from the start and finish. An informal bag check area will be available. Hydration is provided at the finish and refreshments are supplied by event partners.

Dogs are allowed in the park but must be on a leash, not left unattended, and participants with dogs are asked to start at the back of the pack. Bib pickup for in-person participants begins one hour before the event at Picnic Areas 1-5; virtual participants receive mailed bibs.
