Run for Amma
Run for Amma is an annual charity trail race held at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in Los Gatos, Ca. The event marks its 16th anniversary and raises awareness and funds for cancer research. One hundred percent of registration proceeds are donated directly to a UCSF lab for cancer research.
The event offers multiple trail distances with published elevation and time limit details. Route maps are available for each distance and the race now uses the northern lot with a bathroom for race headquarters and the finish area. Participants are asked to park in the equestrian lot.
The Stevens Creek Striders and Quicksilver running clubs and other volunteers support the event. Volunteer duties include marking the course, staffing aid stations, sweeping the course, and running shuttles.

- 50K 5,052 feet elevation gain, 8.5 hour time limit
- 30K 3,382 feet elevation gain, 8.5 hour time limit
- 10K 1,026 feet elevation gain; walk or run
