Run for Amma

Run for Amma is a charity trail running event at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in Los Gatos, CA on May 22, 2027. The event is the 16th annual edition and raises funds for cancer research. One hundred percent of registration proceeds will be donated directly to the UCSF Julia Carnevale Lab.

The 50K route includes 5,052 feet of elevation gain and has an 8.5 hour time limit. The 30K route includes 3,382 feet of elevation gain and has an 8.5 hour time limit. The 10K route includes 1,026 feet of elevation gain and is open to walk or run.

Bib pickup for the 50K and 30K is scheduled from 06:30 to 07:15 on race day. For 2027 the northern lot with a bathroom will serve as race headquarters and the finish area; participants are asked to park in the equestrian lot. Route maps are provided for each distance.

The event is supported by local running clubs and volunteers who help mark the course, staff aid stations, sweep the course and shuttle participants. Trail runs nearby

A free in-person trail run hosted by Fleet Feet Aptos and Altra near Nisene Marks, with demo shoes available and beer at Other Brother Beer Aptos. The event features a group trail run and is scheduled to last two hours.

Multiple trail distances from 5K to 50K on very hilly single track and dirt roads at Rancho Cañada del Oro. The course features scenic foothill views, two aid stations, enforced cutoffs, and finishers receive a medal.

Experience a scenic trail run through ancient Coastal Redwoods and lush river canyons in Santa Cruz. Choose from multiple distances including a 50K and marathon with several river crossings.

Trail running at Calero County Park with multiple distances across single track and dirt paths, significant climbs, aid stations and free parking at the park.
