Run for Amma - May 16, 2026

Run for Amma is an annual charity trail event held at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in Los Gatos, CA. The 2026 edition marks the 15th anniversary of the event, which raises funds and awareness for cancer research.

Distances offered include:

  • 50K: 5,266 feet elevation gain, 8-hour time limit.
  • 30K: 3,629 feet elevation gain, 8-hour time limit.
  • 10K: 980 feet elevation gain; participants may walk or run.

One hundred percent of registration proceeds will be donated directly to the UCSF Julia Carnevale Lab for cancer research. Route maps are provided for each distance.

Parking is arranged at the Skyline Ridge equestrian lot near the finish area. Bib pickup is provided on race day for the 50K and 30K events. The event schedule includes aid stations and on-course support appropriate to each distance.

Volunteers from the Stevens Creek Striders and Quicksilver running clubs and other community volunteers support course marking, aid stations, course sweeping, and runner shuttles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Experience a technical trail race through the scenic parks of San Carlos. Choose from four distances including a 15K long course and a dedicated kids run to support local trail maintenance.

Trail races in Huddart County Park and Purisima Creek Redwoods on April 18, 2026 offering 10K, half, 35K and 50K across technical single-track and fire roads, with chip timing, cupless aid stations, and significant elevation gain.
