Run for Amma : Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve, Los Gatos, CA
Run for Amma is an annual charity trail event held at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in Los Gatos. The event marks its 15th anniversary and donates all registration proceeds to a UCSF lab working on cancer research.
Races are offered over three distances with published elevation gains and time limits:
- 50K: 5,266 feet elevation gain; 8-hour time limit.
- 30K: 3,629 feet elevation gain; 8-hour time limit.
- 10K: 980 feet elevation gain; open to walk or run.
Bib pickup for the 50K and 30K races is available on race day between 06:30 and 07:15. Parking is located at the Skyline Ridge OSP equestrian lot near the finish area. Route maps and detailed course information are provided by the organizers online for each distance.
Volunteer support for the event comes from local running clubs and other volunteers who help with course marking, aid stations, course sweeping, and shuttles.
