Run for Amma is an annual charity trail event held at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in Los Gatos, CA. The 2026 edition is the 15th anniversary of the event. It raises funds and awareness for cancer research; 100% of registration proceeds are donated to UCSF for cancer research. Registration closes on Wed, May 13 at 11:59 PM PT.

The event offers three distances:

  • 50K: 5,266 feet of elevation gain, 8-hour time limit.
  • 30K: 3,629 feet of elevation gain, 8-hour time limit.

Logistics and volunteering

Bib pickup for the 50K and 30K is scheduled on race day from 06:30 to 07:15. Parking is at the finish area, Skyline Ridge OSP equestrian lot. The event is supported by local running clubs and volunteers who help with course marking, aid stations, course sweeping, and shuttles.
