The Community "Run at the Rock" is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Woodland High School, 800 Old Alabama Rd. SE, Cartersville, GA 30120. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
The course uses a mix of grass and rugged trails and includes a 90-foot ascent known as "The Rock" in the second mile. This is the second annual running of the community 5K event. A route map and a site map / parking layout are provided for the event.
Logistics and awards
Entry fees are $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 Mile. Online registration closes on November 10, 2025. Pre-registration packet pickup is scheduled Friday, November 14, 2025, at Big Peach Running Co Cartersville from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Race day packet pickup and registration will be available; registration opens and closes on race morning. Woodland High School has one main entrance; parking is available in gravel lots by the softball field and tennis courts, on grass along the gravel road to the XC course, with overflow by the football field and student parking lot.
5K awards: Top 3 overall M&F; Overall Masters M&F; medals for top 3 in age groups (10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). 1 Mile awards: Top 3 M&F overall; medals for 10 & Under and 11-14.
